How do you evaluate my lawn?

We start with a phone conversation and/or email about your lawn, your expectations, and challenges. With that information we make a recommendation on services. Once we start those services, our trained technicians will evaluate how your lawn is responding to the treatments and other needs that may exist. We will make tweaks to the services you are getting to meet your expectations. We will recommend services you are not signed up for to help meet your needs.

Do you notify us before applications?

A day before a application we will email and text you @ 1pm Central time. You can Call, email, or text us to delay a application for another day if scheduled appointment doesn't work for you.

What communications do I receive about my application received day of application?

Accepted Answer

Grow-Tech emails Chemical Reports after a service is performed on your property. The summary will include which services were performed, what products were used, conditions identified on your property and any recommendations from your technician. It will have all restricted entry times for children and pets along with restricted watering and mowing timing. You can also access this information from your client portal.

How safe are the lawn applications?

The materials which are used for lawn applications are of a very low toxicity and are registered and used in strict compliance to label instructions. They are applied by licensed technicians in accordance with state and local regulations

Do I need to be home when you service my property?

Accepted Answer

You do not need to be at home when the technician comes to do a service to your property unless you would like to discuss a topic or show something that maybe confusing like a property line or area not easily visible. Be sure if you have a gate, that its unlocked. Also make sure your pets are inside.

How long do i need to wait until i can mow or water my lawn

Accepted Answer

24 hrs after application of granular and liquid applications.

How long do I need to wait to let my pets out or for my children to go play on the grass.

Accepted Answer

We would request for you to stay off the lawn for 3 hours until dry. If the application was a granular fertilizer application only there is no restricted entry. If you have any concerns about the weed control. After the 3 hours you can water the lawn to rinse off any weed control residue.

When should I water my lawn?

Accepted Answer

The latest research suggests watering your lawn in the early morning hours, 5-8am is the best time. Watering later in the day leads to evaporation of some of the applied water, thus waste. Watering during the late night or early morning promotes disease. While this is a general rule, each situation is different. When it is hot more frequent watering may be needed. What can I do to help my lawn look its best?

Accepted Answer

We recommend the two following practices: Mow the lawn at the tallest setting on your lawn mower, along with string trimming your edges, curblines and around landscape beds at the same height as mowing. Low mowing and low string trimming will stress the plants and creates areas where weeds can germinate. We recommend heavy infrequent watering . Your lawn does not need to be watered daily. Every lawn is a bit different, so its always best to speak directly with your technician about your lawns unique requirements. Always refer to the instructions and recommendations on the chemical report you will receive after service.

How do i pay my bill?

You can pay online with a credit or debit card on your customer portal. Otherwise you can send payment to our P.O Box 407, Belleville WI 53508

How long until i see results with a fertilizer and weed control program for my lawn?

Accepted Answer

You will see initial fertilizer greening in days to a couple weeks depending on rain and watering. Weeds will start curling and yellowing in a couple days at most. Full weed elimination often taking a month or more, depending on weed type and weather. Significant lawn improvement, including thicker grass and complete weed elimination typically takes a few months to a full season for comprehensive results. You will love your lawn the following year.
